Ticketed Cut-Your-Own Times

There are some who love the hum of a full field — and others who prefer the hush of an unhurried experience.

Our Cutting Field Hour is a reserved cutting time for those who would enjoy a slower, more peaceful experience at Heap Acres. Attendance is limited to 20, so you can wander the rows, cut your stems, and linger in the beauty without the bustle of the larger crowds of our Bloom Days.

It’s just you, the flowers, and the open sky.

Reservations are available for limited time slots and must be booked in advance.

A Day on the Farm

Our farm is more than just flowers—it's an experience! When you visit our farm during our Cutting Field Hours, you’re invited to enjoy:

  • Lots of beautiful flowers

  • Wide-open green spaces

  • Our Picnic area

  • Shopping in our Barn

How It Works

When : We will be hosting our Cutting Field Hours on the last Thursday and Friday of the month starting in July. We will also be offering our Bloom Days on the 3rd Saturday of the month that will not need a reservation. You can find more information about our Bloom Days here.

Cutting Field Hours will be from 7-9am and 4-9pm on the last Thursday and Friday of the month.

  • July 30th and 31st

  • August 27th and 28th

  • September 24th and 25th

Purchase your reservation online: Reservations are $30 per person and are for a 45 minute time slot (children under 10 are free but will not be allowed to use the snips and must be supervised at all times). Choose your time and purchase your tickets through our scheduler, reservations will go live June 1st.

Cut and Fill Your Harvest Cup: At your chosen time bring a copy of your ticket and check in at the Cutting Field Gate to get your harvest cup and a pair of snips. (Snips will be returned to the basket at the gate and the harvest cup is yours to take home). Stroll through the Cutting Fields and cut your favorite flowers. Place them into your harvest cup and keep filling until it is full. If you would like more flowers you are welcome to purchase another harvest cup at the Cutting Field Gate.

Prepare your stems for travel: Your harvest cup is yours to keep and should fit nicely into your cup holder in your vehicle.

Pro Tip: If you plan to give your flowers to someone special, we have vases for purchase in the barn along with many other items to make the perfect gift!

Important to know!

  • Pre-purchasing your ticket is required to enter during our Cutting field Hours and tickets are non-refundable. Children under the age of 10 are free and more than welcome out in the fields but will not be allowed to use the snips and must be supervised at all times.

  • Pets are not allowed on the farm. We have guardian dogs and barn cats who roam the property so we ask that you keep your furry friends at home.

  • Our Heap Acres Photographers are always busy taking photos to use on social media and on our website. If you are not okay with your photo being used for our social media or website, please let a staff member know.

  • Our farm is an outdoor space and our Cutting Field Hours are rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable. If the weather poses a threat and we do decide to close the farm we will contact those that have purchased tickets and issue a refund or allow them to reschedule.
