Celebrating Five Years of Blooming Dreams at Heap Acres
It’s hard to believe it’s already been five years since we began this incredible journey.
In the summer of 2020, we took a leap of faith and purchased a 36-acre farm in beautiful Warren County, Missouri. With a farmhouse dating back to 1851, a vineyard, and wide-open spaces full of potential, we knew we had found something special. Countless hours were spent restoring the old farmhouse and took lots of help from family and friends!
By spring of 2021, our flower farm was officially born. What began with a few beds and selling blooms to friends and family has grown into something so much bigger than we imagined. We decided in 2023 to remove a section of the vineyard that wasn’t producing grapes and expand our flower fields. It has created endless possibilities for the things we can do here at the farm.
Every day on the farm, we’re reminded of just how blessed we are—to have our hands in the soil, to watch tiny seeds grow into vibrant blooms, and most of all, to share that beauty with you. Growing flowers isn’t just our job—it’s our joy. We’re endlessly grateful for the chance to do what we love and to be part of your moments—whether big or small—with flowers grown right here on our farm. When we started Heap Acres part of our mission was to create a space to share our farm and for loved ones to create lasting memories. We love looking out at our fields during our U-Picks and seeing families connecting and relaxing here in nature.
Looking back, it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come. We’re so grateful for the support, encouragement, and shared love of flowers over the years. Here’s to the next season—and many more to come!
